Thanks for sharing your childhood memories with me. I didn't mention Dad above but he was such a great impact on my life. He passed away 3 yrs ago at the age of 90. He was a farmer and loved growing things. We had crops of course, corn and soybeans but he always helped with the big veggie gardens. One of his favorite plants at the house was a big pot of coleus we had every year. We still plant that in the Spring.
