The bark doesn't look quite like I'd expect, but based on the acorns and the leaves, it might be White Oak (Quercus alba).

The white oaks I see in the Midwest don't have bark that scaly, but looking around the web, some sites show bark similar to yours. Seems especially to be the case in the South.
