Yesterday was sunny, less humid and the sky was a deep, vivid blue here. I was returning home along our country road when I made a deliberate observation of the goldenrods, chicory, and other September perennials by the roadside. While I did not have Aunt Bett's wise counsel in my mental notebook, I know she is right about the coming frost! And, I will definitely try the tea this winter.

Today is cloudy, cool and 'rainy' looking. So I most likely won't make any road trips to gather leaves and blooms, but I will mark them on my calendar for later! Aunt Bett will long be remembered whenever I see these golden beauties along the roadsides. Thumbs up
