That inflorescence looks to me a little more like a Xanthosoma than a Caladium. This Spring I've pollinated so many Caladium inflorescences that I am pretty familiar with many of the sizes and shapes that can be encountered. None of them have that slight curvature above the swollen part. But then again, nor do the Xanthosoma inflorescences I've seen! I'm beginning to think that lindenii might be a Schismatoglottis - how's that for a shot in the dark?
