I had to move all of mine to the backyard under the patio.
Lost a bunch of leaves. They turned yellow to brown then to droopy to then just falling off.
And all that was just two days in the heat wave. I felt sad for them
I had to do a lot of trimming of the leaves that were badly sun burnt that were going to die and fall of anyways?
Though the two with thicker stalks didn't suffer no damage at all

This will be a learning curve for me next year when I decided to try and put some in the ground while still potted. Searching now for the best place to get shade after 1pm

Hi Lucky, my little plumie yellow survived okay, just some toasted petals but it has pushed out two more new blooms. My Plumie Celadine, it dropped two of her uglier leaves which had some nasty marks and is turning yellow already anyways, but other than that it held on very well. I gave both early morning watering before the hot sun hits them. I had to water them everyday, it was just so incessantly hot and our humidity as shown on our sensors was registering into single digits already.

The shade from our city trees helped a lot too, so even if it was like a furnace outside my plants survived, thankfully. My plumies gets a sliver of early morning sun from 7 am to 9 am, then shade from our house. By 11 am to 2pm full sun, and then part shade in the afternoons from the city trees. Thankful it is cooling down now to mid/high 80's a good break from the onerous heat!
