'Mahogany Splendor' is actually a seed-strain from PanAmerican Seed. It has especially pretty leaves that are more finely cut than some H. acetosella seed-strains.

I just recently researched it a bit because I got a giant plant at a nursery's tropical plants clearance sale for only 3 dollars. The plant is bigger and wider than me and barely fit in the car. It's also a little prickly which made it extra fun to wrestle! Hilarious! I know I could just grow it from seed, but a pack of seeds would likely cost more than what I paid. I'm hoping for some blooms this fall and seed set. I'm planning to taxi it to the garage, if needed, on cold nights. If I succeed, then I'll put your name on some, Jay. Smiling
