If a person wants to invest the time, the AIS "catalog" library can be a good place to look for information, as well as photos (especially on "newer" iris.....there weren't TOO many of the "real old" ones that ever had their picture taken ). I *think* this link will take you there.......if you 'pick" a catalog , that's a year, or two "younger" than the iris you're researching, or, from the grower who introed it, you have a "fairly" good chance of finding some information. http://wiki.irises.org/bin/vie...
