One of my favorite salvias! The is one that Flowers By The Sea introduced in 2014. I've been growing since, 2014 and I got another one from Kermit this year, just in case, since I've been growing in containers.

As I stated in my ATP comment for Elk Hot Tamale:

"After it started flowering (the first year of 2014), I began seeing a hummingbird working all the flowers every day, and more than once a day. I'm so ecstatic about this Salvia! I love it that the hummers love the flowers! I got this Salvia with them in mind. I'm always going to try to get at least one plant to have in the garden every year. As the season progresses, I'm sure to see more than one hummer at the flowers at all times."

This container was right outside off my patio, where I got to see it a lot. This year , the one in the backyard didn't make it, but I'd made sure to have one this year and it is growing at the end of our side entry driveway, where I don't get to see it a lot, but I'm sure it gets a lot of hummer activity.

A 'winner' of a salvia! The flowers are beautiful and I've found myself staring at them a lot. I deadhead all my salvia flowers every day (so it keeps producing) to make sure the hummers have lots of flowers.

I love this salvia! Hurray! Thumbs up
