@Cem9165
Thanks Annette.
Working on trying to get the rectangular bed ready. Most, if not all, of them are shipping/arriving in early October.
I emailed about the Vibrant tulip mixture at Living Gardens and wanted to know if they were all darwin hybrids and if not, what percentage and what other tulip divisions were in the mix. They said emailed me back and said.....
"This mixture is 60% Darwin Hybrids along with Triumph (20%), Single Late and Fringed varieties."
I guess the remaining 20% makes up the single late and fringed varieties.
It states on their site (next to the colorful pic of tulips).....
"Add a splash of color to your garden landscape with this collection of 100 premium tulip bulbs in ten varieties. Vibrant pinks, reds, oranges and yellows combine to fill your garden with spring color after winter’s dullness."
When I asked about the size, since it didn't list it on their site, they emailed back and said...
"6 varieties are 12/14; the other 4 are 12+."
It was more ($46.50) than I wanted to pay for 100 tulips, but their photo kept drawing me in to get them.
Looking forward to seeing your pics, as well as, everyone else next spring.
I going to compare Colorblends darwin hybrid mix (Big Ups) with Scheepers darwin hybrid mix. I've never grown either, as well as, the tulip mix from Living Gardens.
