Herkimmer visits with me while I weed the shade garden. It fills my mind with memories of my daughter. It is true what they say, 'When your daughter grows up and becomes an adult, she will become your best friend.'
And when I am working in the front yard the Face Rock fills me with wonderful memories of my mother. She had such a sense of whimsy about her.
Both my mom and my oldest daughter loved/loves gardening.

Here is my mom teaching her grand children and great grandchildren how to make lavender baguette/wand. You can't see them in the photo, they were all gathered around her feet watching and making their own baguette/wand.
