I am not very creative, so I look for found things at yard sales, things others are throwing away and some times my DH comes home with things he has found for me.
This is one that my oldest daughter gave me for Christmas one year. When I saw it I immediately fell in love with it. My garden caterpillar (Herkimmer) lost his antennae, but I think he is still wonderful. DH found some old bicycle chain to make replacement antennae for Herkimer.

Okay, now I'm not so afraid of posting. One persons junk is another persons garden art.
I found this funny frog at a yard sale, think I paid 50¢ for it. It makes me laugh every time I look at it. Think I will plant a dwarf variety of campanula in the little bucket.

Do rocks count as garden art? If so here are a couple of pieces of petrified wood in the newly planted hardy succulent bed. Opps, I see some bind weed showing. Time to weed again. : (

These are found items from a yard sale. The cow bell is over 100 years old and came from out neighbor before he passed away some years ago. DH made the gate for me and added the brass swan family and the cow bell. The bell sounds every time you open or close the gate.

Why, Lynn! You have a lot of garden art! And a wonderful husband too, apparently!!

He has been my life long friend, not just a husband. : )

I found these two out in my raised succulents beds last fall. Evidently they don't have family because I've never seen any others in the yard.

Here is my stone face. It used to belong to my mother, until she passed away, then it came to live with me. I think it will probably live with my oldest daughter when I am gone.
It holds a lot of memories.

Same here - I really like it all but that caterpillar takes the cake!

Herkimmer visits with me while I weed the shade garden. It fills my mind with memories of my daughter. It is true what they say, 'When your daughter grows up and becomes an adult, she will become your best friend.'
And when I am working in the front yard the Face Rock fills me with wonderful memories of my mother. She had such a sense of whimsy about her.
Both my mom and my oldest daughter loved/loves gardening.

Here is my mom teaching her grand children and great grandchildren how to make lavender baguette/wand. You can't see them in the photo, they were all gathered around her feet watching and making their own baguette/wand.

What happy memories! I can definitely see the resemblance between you and your mom.

She was such a good mother. She had such a creative nature. She loved learning new things and loved teaching them to others.
