Yea, but all my roses have grown a good 6" in the past week, too! I'm hoping that it'll hold off enough tonight so I can work a little in the back yard.. it usually rolls in just as I get off work & I just am fussy & not gonna be deadheading in a lightning storm. Whistling Whistling Whistling Last night, I decided to call it quits on the computer & whatnot when lightning struck a house 2 houses over from me.. made my hair stand on end and had that nasty penny-in-the-mouth taste.

of course, it's also making the weeds grow like, well, weeds! I have a strip in my front yard that has weed fabric down, then rock on top of it. I just yanked all the weeds out of it on Saturday morning.. and this morning it looked like I could have hunted gazelles in it! The "dog area" of the back yard.. I'm expecting the trumpeting of elephants from that area.

EDIT: Damn, the areas near Boulder where the fires were earlier this year just keep getting bad things happening to them! Poor bastards..
