Hello All!
I agree with Tracey. I love peonies because they tie me to my grandparents. I've moved many times, and each time I take a part of my grandparents' peonies with me. Finally I have a place where we intend to stay for the duration, so I've been adding more each year. I started with passalong plants, then bought from Gilbert Wild and nurseries I visited, and then last year hit the jackpot when I went to a sale sponsored by a club in Kansas City. They had Itoh hybrids, tree peonies, species peony and huge roots of more common varieties. I can't wait to see what blooms this year. In the meantime, I'll be checking back on here to see all your lovely pictures!
