Sorry folks, this is the first time I saw a peony fourm, but I guess I'm like the rest of us, too busy to venture.I have always been a peony lover, since a German war prisioner took the time to teach me about the peony. He had been a garner apprentis, and could do wonders with any plant.I was a very small boy then, and this is one of my first lessons. It may, or may not surprise you, that around 1950, I was able to dig, and move the same peony he had told me about, and I have it here in my yard, in Ga., moved fron N.C.I have never spent the seven years, that he said it would take, to grow it from seed, but I have divided it about every 5 Yrs.
