I also bought mine with the tag: Potentilla nepalensis 'Miss Willmott', but indeed I think you're right Ursula, it is probably the true species.
I searched on the web and it is confusing, most of the photos look like yours but there are also many that look like mine also with that cultivar name, I think nurseries are not always honest and/or accurate with their naming and cause confusion Rolling my eyes.
