Thanks Val! And howdy Goldfinch, log time no see! I wondered where you'd gone! I loved the garden photos you posted - was it last year or the year prior?

Val, yes, many of them are fragrant. I didn't notice much fragrance even on the Festiva Maximas (which are supposed to be very fragrant) last year so we'll see this year - but White Cap, Madame de Verneville, Red Charm, and others are quite fragrant. I would say MdV is the strongest I have so far though White Cap is a close second, believe it or not. Others, like Kansas, have no fragrance I can detect.

OGR, congrats on your early blooms. Must be your shallow planting style that makes you so far ahead of most in your vicinity!

I have TONS of stuff blooming. Hard to keep up with posting on DG and here - though seems eveyone is migrating to cubits.

Hollingsworth's "Top Hat" - looks like White Cap's cousin as DonnaMack said - i love this one. First year plant and I got - no kidding - five flowers on one and eight on the other.

Picture is myself and neighbor Mette planting bulbs at her house (neighbors') last fall.
