I guess you could try it and see what happens. I know some folks put all types of paper products into their worm bins. Run an experiment on the lids with some water to see if they'll break down with a good soaking. I generally stick to newspapers but experimenting today with adding used coffee filters. I keep the used coffee grounds for my garden beds but then have all of the filters left.
