You have a different eye than I do.Its nice to seethe garden thru someone elses lens.

I am so lucky you and Debbi live close enough so we could have an afternoon like yesterday.

The plants are the survivors from " not so perfect placing in holes" If the plants didnt struggle to live I doubt the garden would succeed.
I give the bulbs,plants an edge by using compost.
Siberians and JI's didnt like it. I am fert .ing like crazy to help them survive.
Lilies get Bulbtone spring and afterbloom in summer or they wouldnt make it here in clay and rocks.
