Very nice, Ursula. Your
L. candidum seedlings look particularly nice presented in that light against the darker foliage background!!!
I tried to grow that one once, but had to rip it out and discard it just as it was about to bloom for the first time as I was suspicious about it being virused and when the aphids came for a visit I didn't want to risk growing it any longer
.
Apparently the bulb is very drought tolerant as I bought mine very early in the summer on sale and it was in perfect condition (except being virused) and grew perfectly when autumn came. It must have been dug a year before and the other lily bulbs I got from the same company (a very respectable and well known one here in Sweden, I might add) at that time were garbage being stored warm and dry for a long time. Yes, I know one shouldn't plant it in the summer, but what can I say, I did mention it was on sale, didn't I!
