William, you are right: L. candidum is a magnet for aphids! I spray the infected blooms with a commercial house & garden product, let it act for a few minutes, and then wash aphids and insecticide off with the hose.

I am safe from being tempted: no Lilium bulb sales here!

Della, your pumilum strain lillies are breath taking!

Tracey, when you say 'virus potential', do you mean the ability of L.c. to attract aphids? How would you know if a white Lilium has mosaic virus? It would be very sad if I had to quit growing them!
