After you get Dave's Cassia, you may also be interested in the Pride of Barbados I posted. It's in the same subfamily (Caesalpinioideae). Pride of Barbardos love hot and dry - I'm in zone 9b. Won't do a freeze very well. But mine has come back from the roots.
