You have yellow henhouse? I've got reddish tinges on mine...hold on.... I'll see if I could find a decent image and put up a few examples..

My blue noid which is the only iris that got a purple ring (at the pedicel join?). Maybe I'm 'overboard' with this but it could be a vital clue, however small that could be...for identification purposes

Another one, the Classic Look. The edges of the spathe cover is edged with violet purple pigment

Many have normal green spathes which browned off as the blooms does off....but the Iris. Pallida...I was really intrigued with their papery looking spathes...
