Hello Diana Welcome! Honestly I agree with Tim, in that Tucson will give you so many other options, aeoniums and such - but until then I think your semps will need a semi shady place (especially in summer) morning sun - and I have a feeling your chickens may eat some of he plants, or at least displace them, since worms and bugs will be attracted to the plants - they are easily replanted though!! Welcome and enjoy - I see you have some other tender succulents they look great! I tip my hat to you.
