This plant is the best Lavender I have ever grown. The blooms are a larger size and have very interesting color and form.

This is my favorite Semp. Can get huge. I had one that was 14" across and completely clear plum color, but depending on the amount of sun it can range from plum color to an odd chocolate brown in full summer sun here in Va. The usual size here is 6/8", however. It is a really fast multiplier. This is truly "Super Semp." LOL!--cliff

This is a very old Russian apple variety that is often used for root stock as it forms a very large and deep taproot (non-typical for apple trees). This root stock provides a tree that is cold hardy to -45C.

By Skiekitty on May 6, 2013 9:48 AM, concerning plant: Common Lilac (Syringa vulgaris 'Wedgwood Blue')

I've had this plant for 4 years now. This is the first year it will be blooming. It blooms only on "old wood", so a new baby plant will take a long time to develop the "old wood" in order to bloom. It also requires a lot more moisture than other lilacs.

Somewhat more tolerant to partial shade. Good for forcing. Swept back effect (petals) not as pronounced as most cultivars in this division. White perianth w/ salmon pink cup.

It is clear to see why this plant got the species name 'pachypodioides' since it resembles the genus Pachypodium in its plump shape.

Bred by Brent Heath of Brent and Becky's Bulbs fame (Va., USA). Excellent substance and wonderful fragrance. A most excellent cultivar to force, then plant outside.
One of the best I've ever forced.

The International Daffodil Register & Classified List lists two entries for Roulette. The second entry is not registered. It is a division 2 daffodil. Its color scheme is deep yellow suffused red at base and fronted by a red cup, 1st flowering pre-1977. Originator was D.S. Bell ('Ceylon' x 'Rupee').

A synergistic version of Trinity with large 8 inch ears. It is a bicolor with good flavor. It does not perform well under my growing conditions. A 70 day variety.

Known as The Pink Daffodil. A 'landmark' bulb from the 20th century. Historically significant.

An Su bicolor similar to Bi-Queen but 15 days earlier. Good flavor but not as sweet as newer hybrids. Productive in this area and available at seed and feed stores. Not my favorite bi-color but adequate.
