The berries on this shrub are just fluorescent red this time of year, really good color.

Each stem is laden with a dozen blooms that last between one and three months, sometimes longer. They reach their peak between December and March and bring a magnificent splash of color into your home during the long dull days of winter.

This is a very fast-growing tree. Mine is two years old. It has beautiful light pink flowers in spring and is good for shade all summer. It is exposed to north and west winds and has done fine. Birds love to perch in the tree after they take a bath or are just waiting for insects.

I cannot say enough about this shrub, here it is December and it is in full bloom when everything else has croaked! I walk by this everyday and smile.

These are so easy to grow and so beautiful !! Flowers do not fade like some and save the seeds they will come true!!

In maturity this Hosta seldom looks healthy or attractive. The growth seems to stunt with only one or two leaf displaying after several years, the edges always looking ratty and unpleasant.

Some nurseries list this as a zone 3 plant but I have read reviews from people in zone 5 and 6 who said it did not winter over even with mulch. :(

This plant is a lot better than a Sunflower because It doesn't need to be watered every day. I hardly ever water mine. This plant has seeds, which attract birds; nectar, pollen and water, which attract a lot of insects and butterflies; and the insects attract more birds!

This is a beautiful tree!!

A rapid grower and easy for any gardener to maintain. Large, funnel-shaped fragrant flowers!
