Here in Florida, they're in one week and out the next; all to be done over again the following week, it seems, this time of year. Dragging things in for the freezes creates Miniature Garden photo opportunities. Plants can look great with the addition of a couple of items from the glass case inside. Using those things and touching them once in a while brings them back to life!
