It bloomed for 4.5 weeks in '17, which is pretty good for my garden. However, it didn't do very well last year with the excessive heat. I'm getting registered height, but not really close to registered bloom count. I'm attaching my best photo of it, but it often doesn't open this nicely for me, and the color is sometimes lighter. Also, it's registered as early, but it my garden, it's at the later end of my early daylilies, at best, if that means anything to you.

I got Leslie Renee from a friend a couple of years ago. I think it's sib; Shores Of Time is a bit better flower, and it's other sib: Wren's Song is more dormant and has a better scape. However, that being said, Leslie Renee is a great flower that makes seed better than the other two. It has attractive foliage that is more resistant to rust than it's sibs, and, so far, grows better as well. I think I'll keep it!

I lost my label for mine and may have lost the plant to a gopher, not sure yet.

Here is Leslie Renee, my daughter. Pat Stamile named it after her and also one for my granddaughter, Natalie Antoinette.

Cool story and beautiful daughter, @Calif_Sue

It took awhile for Leslie Renee to take off in my garden and it doesn't always open well for me either. It is a late bloomer here in my zone 3 garden, it was still blooming and had quite a few buds left when hard frost got it last year. It sets seeds well but is late enough that they don't always have time to mature. I love the color and when it opens well it is beautiful so it is a keeper for me.

Leslie Renee was planted here in 2016. It bloomed that year and was pretty but that was the best I have seen. It is still here and perhaps just needs a long time to settle in. Very slow growth and perhaps the freeze thaw cycles are not to her liking. I will give her this year to up her performance but I think there are others waiting for her prime location. I have Shores of Time as well and the same info applies to that one.

I like the story behind the names of Leslie and Natalie. Nice to know they are both named for beautiful girls. Natalie Antoinette unfortunately proved tender for me and didn't make it over it's first winter. Leslie I've had forever it seems. She's a good reliable bloomer that usually blooms around mid June for me. We have some really tough summers here, well over 90-95, and she does pretty good considering. But like many daylilies, she will fade to paler pink in the heat and loose some substance by the end of the day.
