Sorry but forty years ago, I did not think much of Star Wars, though my one cousin was infatuated with it, and after wasting money to see one a while back, I now think less of it.
That said:
Last night I/we watched the AERONAUTS , an interesting movie but once again it is Hollywood trying to turn women into macho men, which conflicts with the ME TOO reality, at this point in time.
It was two dudes who actually did these experiments and Glaisher was real person, the chick was not but she was based on multiple female aeronauts, including one who did do the showman tricks in the movie.
It is still worth watching, and I wish I had seen it in a theater instead.

After that I watched PICKINGS, another macho chick movie, where Hollywood instills in females all of males worst traits, in this case murdering gangsterettes.
This time the females lead, did do a good job of conflicting personalities.
Lastly:
I watched WILD LAND, a German film, in German, based on the actual treaty between Texas Comanches and a German settlement in Texas when it was just Texas.
It was odd, hearing a dude, who was supposed to represent the Texan guide who was speaking German with a what was supposed to be a South Texas accent.
At least some of the Indians were real or of real Indian decent.

Neither do I and I was up so late last night , I missed the Rose Bowl parade, which is the ONLY thing really that I would go to stink hole Calif. to see.
They say the parade before the Indy 500 in Indianapolis is actually just as much worth seeing as the Rose Bowl parade but those floats out of Roses is a unique treat.

Watched Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan at 1:00am this morning after the party people at the American Legion woke me up.

Always wondered how in the world parents could possibly keep their twins apart for 11 years without a guilty conscious. I know it is stupid of me because it is just a movie, but that part always bothered me.

Didn't even watch the parade this morning. Now have Nat Geo Station on which has a series running about dogs. How they think, how they got domesticated and so on.

Even though there are a few stretches of people just talking, my nominee for the best mindless action, forget about plot or acting or dialogue: Battle of the Damned, 2013, IMDB 4.5.

Dolph makes some surprisingly good movies and some lemons.

Now I know I said that Jack Wick was way too intense for me, but I am watching Along Came a Spider with Morgan Freeman and it is good! Love the twists in this one.

We watched a couple of Christmas movies tonight as Sharon said she did not really want to see another, kill em dead movie, so, she watched one while I baked biscuits but then I put on The 12 Days of Christmas Eve.

A take off of Groundhog Day, and it seemed familiar but I do not think I ever saw the end of it the first time I saw it.
It was a darker movie than Groundhog Day, but not bad at all.

When I was growing up it was vampire movies. Silver bullet and/or wooden stake through the heart made it a bit of a challenge. Now it is zombies and hit them in the head. Gee, kind of a large, easier target. I think it would be more interesting if I was a bit harder. Smaller, moving target. Left foot.

Welcone to Year 2020! Loved yesterday's Rose Parade. I have more of an appreciation for those floats than when I was a kid only wanting to party on the parade route sidewalk all night.

Watched Netflix, Season 2, episode 1 of Lost in Space. Still loving it. Finished Netflix Series, Virgin River...finally. How Hallmark can you get? DH enjoyed it. Watched another episode of Dirty John. Seems back story is the way of all movies. Gotta pay attention to know which decade in the show/movie you are watching. Still. Nicely done.

Can't wait to see the new season of YOU. The new season of The Crown started off boring. DH wants to watch The Magicians. It was Super Hero-ish and hard for me to get into. But then, I was watching it in bed and was almost asleep.

The most Earth-Shattering episode "watched" was my dream last night! Saddened me to the core as DH and I prepared to die together. I cried and fought it as hard as I fought against our dog's euthanasia. What an exhausting "episode" most likely brought on from the sad news of the death of DH's Oncologist.☹ It was way too real! Give me a TV movie/series any day! Off to make my day a happy one!

Cheryl, those dreams can seem all too real at times. My husband has woken me up because he could hear me breathing so hard and could tell I was in a bad dream. Glad yours was just a dream.

From my sniper movie collection: Age of Kill, 2015, IMDB 3.6. Action, fast pace, I enjoyed it immensely. 3.6?
