G'day folks! Smiling
(I'm not an Aussie, but love their spirit, Waltzing Matilda,
koalas, roos, & didgeridoos ;)

Welcome to this place where you can let your hair(s) down,
share good positive stuff with each other, away from the
worries of the world. You can come & go as you please.

Check your worries at the door, enjoy the company of others
who need a break like you from the constant stats, politics,
division, rancor, gloom & doom, etc.

Our brains need a rest to be healthy.

We need humor, beauty, heartwarming stuff
to generate the good endorphins necessary
for good mental health & optimism. Smiling

It's not sticking our heads in the sand (what an awful thought), but
giving each other a leg up. Thumbs up

So round up pics of your kids, grandkids, pets, garden, family vacation,
favorite family recipes, links to funny and/or heartwarming YouTube videos,
your hobbies, poetry, music, etc,
bearing in mind the purpose of the thread.
Nothing negative, cynical, political (even if it's hilarious), or porno.....a little off color
is Ok.....just use good judgement. Smiling

If you find anything offensive or questionable, please treemail me first, instead of
calling out someone publicly. It's too easy to "get into it"....been there, done that. Rolling my eyes.

To start the ball rolling, here's 2 of my favorite videos. You may have seen them already,
but they never get old for me, and hope you will enjoy them as much, too. Thumbs up

Wishing everyone a very happy, healthy weekend and weeks to come! It's already been like summer here, with temp's in the mid and upper 80's and a couple of days that hit 90º. These are my garden helpers, Bo and Toby. I call them my "Snoopervisors". In this photo they are waiting for me to give them the okay to go get their treats, that I laid on the pool deck (bottom left in the photo).

Beautiful goldies, Lin. Give them a big hug for us. Grin

It's "freezing" here in Southern California.....60F. Brrrrrrrrrrrr.
Tell that to Leon & JMorth, & Moonshadows.
They may throw a snowball at me. Rolling on the floor laughing

Warm sunshine sounds good, though like to have a few clouds. But enjoying the rain, lately,
and lots to do as Spring has sprung, and much to do to keep ahead of the curve. Sticking tongue out

Enjoy! Thumbs up

Is that frost on the ground? Snow all gone?

@plantladylin Love that screened in pool. Brings me back to when I live in Florida for a while in the mid eighties. Snoopervisors! Rolling on the floor laughing

Unlike your 90 degrees and Cal's 60 degrees, we are only at 46 degrees here today and a lot of rain, but things will be getting nicer and nicer from here on in.

Not frost, dead grass, Cal! The grass hasn't started to green up yet. It was about 60 degrees when I took this pic.

Labeled 50 cases of product today. I have two deliveries to stores, one Monday and the other Tuesday...both food stores so they are still opened. Not a bad day to have to label and get orders ready; the weather is chilly and raining today.

Jim, I wish you could send some of that rain south to us ... we are extremely dry here and really need rain! I heard of a brush fire recently that was started by kids ... luckily it didn't get out of hand and firefighters were able to get it out quickly!

Nice tulips @jmorth. The deer get all of ours! They don't eat our daffodils. Wonder if they are poisonous?

Daffodils are toxic. It is said that some Roman soldiers carried one to eat if severely injured and about to be captured.

Lucky not to have deer here. Its kissing daylily season and I hear from my northern friends how the deer eat their flowers, I would be so :grumbling:

That being said, Miss Penny can dig them up as fast as I can plant them.

I was working outside off and on today and at one point I went out the side garage door to put something in the recycle can and this big Cuban Tree Frog jumped on me and scared the beejeebies outta me for a second! These tree frogs are invasive here and I should have taken the time to catch it but I got sidetracked. I think we have some Ambesol or something similar with Benzocaine around here and when I find this guy again, he will get a dose of benzocaine down his back and then go in the freezer to be disposed of later. Green Grin!
