Can't sleep so I thought I would come up with a new topic. You can enter more than one color or type, but if you put just one picture per message maybe we will have another winner.

Some of my favorites are amoenas especially those with really dark falls. Most of these I have only seen in pictures First a comment. I have never been attracted to Starring as the pictures I have seen it seems that the standards and falls are not in balance. Am I off base?

My first is Cosmic Celebration although it does have somewhat open standards which I tend not to like.

In the database this is a blend, but it seems to me to fit the amoena category

I'm in the same boat with Charlotte! The more striking the color the more I have to have it!

I think Point Of No Return is one of the most colorfully bold irises out there. Just love how the colors blend together. Now I wish I could get it to be a parent! Sighing!
Have to expand the pictues to really see the colors.

Most of my Iris are new and have not yet bloomed so I can't call a favorite color/pattern from actual experience, but I seem to favor the blends in taupes, warm milky coffees, caramels and butterscotch, mahoganies, dusky greyed-purples, pale salmons, and/or soft melons. Of all the ones I have not seen in person and for which we have images in the database, I think I am most looking forward to this one:

It’s okay to not know all the answers.

My favorite color is blue. I am working on red amoena & also pink SDBs just because it is a challenge. My 'Reddy Set' came close because it has the white edge.

Paul Black mentioned the nice white edge & I told him that I was trying to get rid of the white edge & he looked at me like I had 2 heads. Here is a pink seedling.
