If you have some breaks during this Holiday Season, please share your itoh peony pics to remind us the wonderful blooms that these plants brought us earlier this year and dream of nicer blooms to come next year. Feel free to share multiple pics of the same plant esp. if they show the progression of color changes during the bloom period. Please post pics for one or two itohs a day so the thread won't be inundated with pics at the same time. This way we can all enjoy the pics for a longer period of time. Thank You! for sharing.

I will start with my favorite itoh peony this year, a mislabel Lollipop peony from Michigan Bulb. I believe it is Kopper Kettle due to its coppery coloring. Whatever it is, it is certainly a gorgeous peony. Sometimes you can get a nice surprise from MB.

Wow, those are nice! What is the name of your itoh peony, Craig? If I don't grow itoh peonies, I would have difficulty believing the range of colors that bloom for the same plant, one of the reason I really like about itoh peonies.

Karen, not really sure on the names but I have some suggestions: Magical Mystery Tour, Scrumptdidlyumptous, First Arrival.

Here's Singing in the Rain with a bit of Victorie de la Marne at the bottom. I divided it that fall and haven't had side buds again yet, maybe next spring, to get the different colored blooms at the same time.

I really like your Singin in the Rain, Liz! The colors of the blooms are bright and the peachy shade is gorgeous. So beautiful! Is SitR a tall peony?

Most favorite of all the ones you have posted! Just super gorgeous form! I am sorry that you don't know its name because I really would love to get this one. I rarely see this form on an itoh peony where the petaloids cover the center of the flower.

Here is my Hillary which looked much pinker than I expected.

Karen, it may be Scrumdidleyumptious but I am not positive. When I first started collecting itohs I did not label most of them, only certain ones that stood out. Shrug!
Nice Hillary, as they increase in size you can have several shades on one bush.

Bartzella. Can't go wrong with Bartzella. It is a great yellow itoh peony.

Wow, what a treat for Thanksgiving, Craig! Your itoh peonies are all lovely! Hope my Berry Garcia looks like yours someday! Can I ask how old are your Kaleidoscope and Court Jester? Do the blooms come in different shades of the colors that are showing? I think the wide petals on Court Jester really make the flower unique.

Karen, they are all 7-8 years old and the colors do not vary too much. Court Jester is unique and is hard to find.
I posted more photos on the Northern Peonies thread and will post an announcement on Simmons Peonies Hurray!

Thank you very much for sharing your KK pics, Craig. I think that my mislabel itoh peony is KK after seeing your pics of it. I really love this peony. It produces full double flowers with really lovely color. It is also a very floriferous plant. Is your last pic Lemon Dream?

I believe it is Lemon Dream, Karen. Beautiful pics from you as well, especially Haleigh's Hallellujah. Where did you find it? I cannot locate one Shrug!
