I'm back. Almost got sunstroke the sun is so intense today. And not ideal conditions for photo taking.

This one has become my favorite green semp, and the watermarks are just starting to appear.

I can't tell if Cresta's watermarks are coming, or going? Last year it had spectacular watermarks in June.

This one is 11 inches across the main rosette, and the offsets come half grown up it seems, and still not rooting, I think they don't want to leave mommy.

Julia, at certain times of the year some of heuffelii can have amazing watermarks.
Here is 'Jowan' in October. Right now the watermarks are almost not visible.

Heres my Walmart noid, it didnt have any watermarking when I bought it, but after a few weeks of growing in my container its showing good watermarks and they get stronger looking every day.

Love the pink coloration.

Bev I'll have to try to catch it in the strong watermark faze this year and get a better photo. Great observation, I had never paid attention to how the watermarks are distributed.

So far I don't seem to have any that have watermarks, unless they are too young. Is it a thing that comes with age for certain semps? I see I need more semps!

Here another noid getting watermarks, even the bank rescues are starting to get em...is it weather, time of the year?

Combination of weather, season and surface type of the semp. Such an interesting thing to watch for in our semps.
