It is kinda like a shopping list although that lovely noid of Bev's--wowee! is it lost and gone forever? dusty files...the past tense *was*... Dang, I want one!

There are very few semps with watermarks in my collection. But here you go...

Pale green barely visible watermarks on one of last year's seedlings...



and more obvious ones on the semp I received as 'Jurariese'.

I see them Michael. I wonder if they will become more apparent as the season progresses? Some of mine do.

Does any one have any idea what causes watermarks to show up. I realize there is some genetics involved but there seems to be a lot of varience from year to year (as in my Viking) and garden to garden. (My Dakota is much darker and is not showing any water marks right now)..... ?????

Jo Ann I have found the same thing in mine. Even with the seasonal colors they can differ from one year to the next. Then you add location and the same plant can have very different coloring at the same time of the year in the different locations. Hope this makes sense?
