I just ran out and cut a mess of things from the garden before the sky opened up...I've heard that we
can expect 12 inches of rain in the next 36 hours!

I just trimmed my tree hydrangea which is heavy laden with blooms. I'd hate to lose it like the peach tree. I could make a million bouquets!

It worked the opposite here and sucked all of our rain and humidity off to the east. There is not a cloud or drop of rain to be had. I guess it has all joined the storm and is headed north. It might have been a tad windy today but nothing to speak of.

I only weigh 145 lbs soak and wet. I may find myself drying off with the kids up in the oak tree. Confused

Beautiful bouquet of flowers, Lindsey.
I just love the Lanai Rooms they have such a nice feel to them.
Happy to say that our GH is up. Ric just finished the structure still have lots of things to do later. Like heat, fans, electric and benches but the structure is finished. Sometime later we will do a thread in the GH forum on it.

Thanks, We won't be heating it this winter but should be next year and it will be a great spot early next spring to get my tropicals and seedlings started.

If you hear a giant sucking sound coming from Florida, it is because they installed the new set of fans today. What a difference. Here is a picture of the old exhaust fan and the new ones. Can't wait to try them out on the neighbor kids.

That's the way I like it. Move that air. Looks like you had room for a fourth unit to balance out the airflow. Smiling

The electrician was out today and rewired the fans so I can turn them on individually. All three on at once was overkill on most days and made too much noise. I think that is the last of the work. The contractor needs to come collect my last payment and take his under construction sign away. Here is one last look from the back yard.

Looks fantastic. Jim!

I got a roof on my little orchid shack, but I don't think it will be enclosed this winter. Guess I'll find out how much cold the 'chids will take. Shrug!
