Thanks, Holly. It has been an ordeal. The builder and I have been plating phone tag for two days. I hope he has my new exhaust fan ready.

It's hard to anticipate winter right now. Low temp last night was 85 degrees. The gulf water temp is 91 and it had been raining for two days straight. It is like living in the middle of the Amazon basin during rainy season. I have no incentive to go outside and besides, my camera lens fogs up constantly. What a bummer. I've been sleeping with a snorkle under my pillow just in case.

Funny we have been having simular weather. Lots of humidity with frequent thunderstorms and a lot of rain then hot steamy & sunny for a few hours. My air tank is stored under the bed maybe I should get out my reg and hook it up. Hilarious! Hilarious!

Maybe it's my eyes fogging up. That would explain a lot.

I keep my camera outside so that I can continue my bromeliad cataloging in between rain showers. It's under roof but outside. So far I've identified 121 different bromeliads with more to go. I put a stick on every one I've photographed as I get confused otherwise. I had to get some more 12" bamboo skewers from Publix today and as I got out of the car I couldn't see. Glasses got fogged up. Funny how my orchids now play second fidle.

I just got word that they are going to replace my 18 inch exhaust fan with three 24 inch exhaust fans. This should be interesting.

Now you're talking Jim. That one little thing you had up there wasn't going to do the air movement trick in such a large area. The contractor should have known that.

Even the contractor agrees with you, Fred. I won't be charged extra for the new fans.

Lindsey, I'm worried about the noise as well. At least the fans will only run during the day in the summer. I'm still wondering if 3 fans will work as well as one giant 36 inch one. I also have to think about the possibility of sucking small kids out of the pool and blowing them out into the oak tree. Rolling on the floor laughing
