Beautiful and a bright spot of color on our cold, cloudy and dreary day.

This was planted in one of my greenhouse raised beds 3 years ago. It grew up to the ceiling, at nearly 8 ft. I've had to keep trimming it down to keep it in bounds. It blooms all year long. I've made cuttings and the cuttings grow quickly.The only thing I hate is that it is a magnet for white flies and aphids. I fight those all year.

How do you root the cuttings?
I've never tried it for hibiscus.

I just take short tip cuttings and put them into soil. They normally are rooted and growing well within a month.

Thank you for the hibiscus tip. I have a perennial one I love with black leaves and red flowers. I'll try making cuttings this year.
