Thumbs up I'd like to know how tall they get for her. Leaves here are +-3' but blooms rise to at least 4' so far. Next year I'll plant closer together.

I love it too..I probably pulled up some but as these got larger I decided I would wait and see what they were. Think there are two plants in that bed...I had "Lady in Red" in the past so wondered what they would be..They are very easy to get seed from and grow well here for me..

I just looked up Lady in Red. That is very pretty too!

I usualluy clean up beds very early spring and in the process pull a lot of volunteer stuff I don't realize is there. I have since learned to be more patient.

I love the Phlox and the Hydrangea Lemon Wave, in-spite of the deer munching I get a good idea of the plant and I really like it. The one with the burgundy leaves is Actaea Black Neglegee? What is that, I could not find it, might need to order some. Lovey dubby

Nice photos ya'll! I agree about the Black Negligee Snakeroot.

Here's some info about it:
Actaea simplex 'Black Negligee'
Synonym: Cimicifuga ramosa

It said zones 5-9. However, I have been afraid to try one here due to the heat, but I wish we could find someone who grows that in the south!

Susan - Love your Agastache & Pow Wow Echie together! You can't go wrong with that! Those plants are meant for each other.

Monrovia gives zone 3-9.I googled the plant and the other zone spread was 3-8.
I sense you really want this plant. Mine grows in part day shade and in another garden in dappled shade morning,if this helps.
