I love your easy access ghetto, has such an open feel. It looks like a proud ghetto, I like that. I think mine is a proud ghetto too and it is near the side entrance so when I come and go it screams, 'I am Ghetto!!'.
It does not help to plant things because when I see an empty slot I think I need to go shopping. LOL.

Susan, I know what you mean about empty spaces...I am almost ready to plant the new area in the back of my house. I know exactly what's gonna happen as I use up the plants in my ghetto
I mowed the lawn and planted three plants last night and got rid of the last year's pots full of weeds. I almost broke my arm patting myself on the back afterwards.

What's with all the geraniums? Just never got planters done this year?

They were only $1, in tiny pots. I just transferred them to bigger pots. I never planned to plant them. I did not overwinter any geraniums last year. I needed to replenish my stock!

OMG. I have a rack like that indoors upstairs with lights. I have an indoor pot ghetto. Maybe it's like a bio-dome then.
