Post a picture and I'll send you an acorn. Hilarious! I bet it is organized, unlike mine where there is no zoning. Rolling on the floor laughing

My Pot Ghetto is still there. *Blush* I think I added a few. Whistling Nothing organized about it, though I should be a little worried about the zoning. Green Grin! Rolling on the floor laughing

Yep, I have a pot ghetto too. Pots all over the place, you would think I would try and keep them together. Just can't turn down pots from anyone. One day I bought a cute blue ceramic pot at a thrift store and the woman behind me said she had some pink pots in her car and she gave them to me. OK, I just added 7 more pots to my "collection". The addiction is growing. Rolling on the floor laughing

Well, I still have a pot ghetto, but at least it's now a bit better organized.....and up off the ground! Wanna see my cool new shelf system?

It's still a work in process, and I wish I'd thought of it earlier. I have more shelves ordered, but this is going to be neat because it's infinitely (well almost) adjustable for any plant height. Smiling

Only drawback I can see right now is that I'm going to have to take a scrub brush to that wall that is now very visible. Hilarious!

What a fantastic idea! I could do that on the outside of my shed. Some in the shade and some in the sun when I'm getting the plants hardened off. My shed is brown, luckily.

The other nice thing about it is that when it's time to tuck everything in for the winter, you can just remove the shelves, pop the brackets off and tuck them away out of the weather, and leave the uprights in place for next spring. The standards and brackets are fairly inexpensive. I got a deal on the wire shelves from Home Depot (they had a special on a nice little free-standing shelf unit from which I used just the shelves. Smiling ) But it's easy enough to make your own shelves, too. I'd like to find some longer wire shelves to use with this, but the smaller ones are great for now.

I have a couple of stands I want to use for my plants, so I better get busy and scrub the smaller one down so I can repaint it.

I have two metal ones, one is green and in good condition so won't paint it, but the other smaller one is black and rather dull so does need painting, but don't know just what color yet. Have to check through spray paint I have here, want to use up the old before buying new. Hilarious!
