Bonnie will either be excited to add a new iris to her garden or will identify it for you.

Now that the rain has stopped, I see it has a greenish cast to the falls. Hmmmm.

Here's a picture of the bloom dried out a bit and relaxed some.

Gizmo the Gremlin opened too, but the bloom is miss shaped, so I'll wait for pictures. I could have two or three more open tomorrow. Smiling

That's pretty close, but on this one the striations are baby blue. I'm beginning the think that this is a clump of seedlings as another one bloomed today in the same clump, really poorly formed, and much taller (about 18") then the first one. I had removed the clump of Trajectory two years ago from this spot and moved it, so I just assumed I had missed some and it grew back, now I'm thinking a stray seed pod may have fallen there. Shrug! This is the ugly next one to bloom in that clump, there's one more stalk coming up yet. Seems to look like the first one so far.

We had a huge down pour of rain last night, over an inch, but a few more opened in spite of that. They look like drowned rats, but deserve a picture for their efforts, Hilarious!

Yes it blooms on a regular basis, but it tends to crowd itself, and needs to be thinned every year it seems.

Tom how cool if that clump came from seedlings. Do you think the ugly yellow might improve as it matures?

Loving all the wet irises look lol that's what we get a lot of up here in Washington.

It did improve some, but not enough to be of any value. I see 2 more bud all at different heights, we'll see what that brings.
