Canadian_Rose, my sweet fragrance didnt smell much this morning but it does now that the sun is out. Lynnez, I got my Sweet Fragrance at Home Depot cheap becausr a branch was broken but she still looks like a winner to me. I think your Pink is too. And that big fluffy marshmallow of a rose is yummy!

Carol, you made my day ! LOL

This one has a label, Claire, but it was light yellow when it just started and turn to white when it fully bloomed.

It doesnt look like Claire I have. I guess I have a new rose now. Hurray!

I checked with a few on that list, like Davis Austin Unlimited and Heirloom roses. I don't think I saw Fair Bianca there.

Beautiful rose and photo. Is that the sky in the background? Love the setting.

Thank you, Margie! No, the background is actually my terra cotta tinted concert patio. It makes a great back drop for photos.

What is that stuff they put in a vase (with the water) that helps the blooms last longer?

Thanks

Moondog,
I add little sugar in the water, and put the vase in the fridge at night. It seems help the flowers last few more days.

Moondoggy, also make sure that there are no leaves in the water. That helps. You can change the water daily and add one or two drops of bleach to the water to keep away the nasties.

I've also heard people say to put some 7Up in the water. It has the sugar to feed them and the acid to keep the water clear.
