Heirloom - out of stock

Roses Unlimited - has Fair Bianca listed

Can you please give me the link to this. I did a search and something about Bitcoin came up, and the other site had no Fair Bianca.
Thanks ahead

Here is the link to Fair Bianca on HMF.

Hummingbird roses carries a number of the older Austins and her plants are great. I don't see it listed but she recently got a lot of the older Austin cuttings that she is planning on selling. Her roses traveled to Calif with no problem (she does have the certificates) and arrived here in fine shape. She may be selling this plant in the fall (or not) but worth exploring.

https://www.heirloomroses.com/... This is the link for Heirloom but they state it is out of stock. $45.00 for the plant--have their prices ever gone up!

I have read that this plant does not do well on its own root and tends to be difficult to grow. Heirloom sells own root. I don't know if they will bud it for you or not.

Roses Unlimited should be having their annual sale anytime now. It's usually at the beginning of June, so watch the site for sale selections. The sale roses usually are larger than the others. The nursery puts them on sale because they're growing out of their containers.

Thanks MustBNuts, Lynnez and Seil for your help with the water additives for my rose buds in the vase.
I accidently "snipped" a bud while trimming the dead ones this morning. Wanna get all the good out of it.

Thanks again

I have three Fair Biancas - two from Roses Unlimited and one came from Hortico. The one from Hortico is the strongest grower.

Here's one of my favorite miniature roses, Marriotta. I've been waiting for several years to get a decent number of blooms. After I moved it to a sunnier spot, it's finally happening!

This rose is from New Zealand and has a slight fragrance. The white edging (picotee) on the pointed petals gives it lots of charm!

I bought 2 roses on sale yesterday from Jackson and Perkins, Zephirine Drouhin and Simply Magnifiscent, both will go in front side yard where the soil is not very good. I haven't bought anything from them before, so I have no idea whether they are good or bad, but for deep discount, I will chance it.

Do you buy roses from them? They charge pretty high shipping to CA

The shipping cost is ridiculously high, but the sale price is low enough to make the combined total less expensive than the prices now charged before shipping by some other nurseries.

In looking at roses, I like that some roses like Eden Climber, doing really well in SoCal. That's what I need to look for, roses that are doing well in the heat. This is what my two Eden Climbers as of now. No other roses are doing as well. But I only have 9 type of roses.

I'm looking for a yellow climbing rose for SoCal(I don't have any) not sure which one would do well here, preference for fragrant and repeat blooming. Here is what I narrow down to: Teasing Georgia, Graham Thomas, Charlotte, Golden Celebration. Which one would you choose?

This one is for you, ZuZu. I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you. I tip my hat to you. Hurray!
I have been a member here for a couple of months, and the one thing I have noticed is that you are "very dedicated".
I am moderately active on 3 forums here. But while scrolling through or browsing around, you are active EVERYWHERE throughout numerous forums, on this website. You're busy with the database photos and moderating the Rose Forum (and I think maybe other forums also). I noticed when someone has a question about a particular rose or a problem with one, you take the time to research and post the necessary informational link, as well as offer your own advice, based on your own personal experience and knowledge. I find that very "commendable".
Also, just from the chat on different topics, and from a post, here a while back, I believe you said you have around 1700+ roses that you grow and tend to. That's Astounding".
You have to be the busiest person I "never: met. I am thinking that maybe you have been "cloned" Hilarious!
Just want to say thanks!!! Thank You! Acorn

Moondog, you are so right. Zuzu is a rare treasure! We are so lucky to be able to learn from her - and she's fun too.
