I figured that you would like my opinion?
So from what I see, the 4n Leptotes has it all over the 2n plant. And yours is very typical to what I generally see in show displays.
Two n looks more 'spidery' if you will. Segments on the four n look fuller and shorter. The overall proportions are very good. Without a ruler I can't tell if the segments are indeed shorter on the four n or is their overall fullness making it appear that way.
I see a superior lip on four n as well. It appears fuller and with a deeper, richer area of amethyst. It looks shorter in length but that again could be due to the fullness.
And lastly let me say that the substance appears to be much heavier, stiffer if you will and the flower presents so much better!!
And finally, I will say that I am looking to add Leptotes bicolor to my collection and if I saw Ms. 4n, I would be all over it!! Like "white on rice"!! Rolling on the floor laughing

Oh let me add this too Ursula. If you treat say a Cattleya walkeriana flower with the Big C, there is something more there for it too work on and improve. But in the case of treating a small flower like bicolor, you can't take a small flower and expect to get a full, round 4" flower! It ain't going to happen.

Bill, thanks so much!! Yes, I was hoping you would take a closer look at this plant for me. I see the difference, but I was not exactly sure what I am seeing. You are describing it perfectly!! Thumbs up
I am happy I jumped on this plant when I read the tag!
Unfortunately the 2N plant is done blooming, otherwise I would start measuring!

Oh btw I think it is awesome to have a judge on the forum.... 👍

Why thank you both I tip my hat to you.
I really appreciate that! Just ask me in a tree mail if you are looking for an opinion and I might miss it otherwise.

It is impossible to compete with Ted's mega-post but I have a few blooms in the OC.
First up is this nice Bratonia Leopard Glo. I think it used to be a Miltassia.

Over in the corner labeled "I'm not a Schomburgkia" is this Myrmecophila grandiflora 'Classic Beauty'. It has happily attached itself to a 1x6 ceder board. The spike is 5 feet 8 inches long. Hanging next to it is a Myrmecophila tibicinis with a spike exceeding 6 feet and still growing.

The spotting is just so beautiful and that lip is a great companion color to the sepals and petals. What a Great Plant.

This afternoon Klaus checked up on the Cyp acaule stands at the local Ramapo Mountains and they are in bloom. I expect our Pennsy stands to follow in another week.
