Oooh, I was wondering after skimming through this a couple times, the pots are called Bloom Masters, not the plants. Wow they ARE proud of those pots, but I'm sure they're right to be. If I had that much of a 'pot budget,' I would move tons of plants to them. Finding discarded free pots is more my speed, but I love it that there are pots like this available and really thought I was doing something unique when I poked holes in the sides of my pots, most of which already had plants in them while/when I did it, and took some decent time doing each one. Feel free to laugh! But it's gone well overall and I plan to do more of it next year. Now I know folks will assume I'm emulating these, which is fine with me, it's a worthy and rewarding thing to do under any motivation.
The only drawback is that these pots can't be repotted without disturbing everything coming in from the sides - no 'gently tipping' these out of their pots. Irritating but not a huge problem since they (stuck through the holes in the sides) are transient vine and creeping type plants anyway, just a lot more time consuming for me to do, and for new cuttings to get going. At least I'll have a massive amount of material to work with in the spring. What a difference planting the sides makes in that regard!
