I'm thinking they should grow faster. Are they in full sun?

I believe so. I am gonna observe their spot for a few days and see how much sun they are getting.

Saw it could be a sun light issue so moved the pots.

Here's my new salvia, S. glutinosa. Love the yellow! 💛

Thanks. It's reportedly a hummingbird magnet. I like yellow salvias. I have Salvia koyamae too which makes a larger flower than glutinosa without the brownish color lines.

I got it from Ronnie in a plant trade. @luvsgrtdanes

I have to say that the mystic spires I bought earlier in the year is the big star among all my salvias. Even though it's in the ground and this is a thread about salvias in containers, I just can't say enough about this lovely salvia. I'm sure it would be a superstar in a container. It's a nonstop bloomer. Nonstop. I don't coddle it, I really generally ignore it. The bees are crazy about it. I find bees on it nearly every day

Lynda,

I used to grow Mystic Spires when I could find it. Did you order it online or buy it locally? If you ordered it online, where did you get it? I'd like to grow it again.

Beautiful pics. Love the bees on the flowers.
