Gorgeous gardens, Tam! Hurray!

I think the fog on your lens made some really neat pictures! Mine won't fog just around the edges like that...wish it would sometimes.

I think your video idea is great, and now's the perfect time to start...especially with your house and gardens. Thumbs up

I tried a new fertilizer on the tomatoes today and fertilized them all with Algoflash. Never used it before but I have read where everyone raves about this stuff. Used the tomato Ferlitizer. It greens them up immediately. Best used as a folliar feed and that us what I did.

Cut back my front yard butterfly shrub and planted gress seed in a few spots needed patching. I was just really to go weed the upstars iris garden and it started to rain. Figgured it would rain which is why I got the grass seed planted. Don't have to water it now! Oh well, the weeding will wait until tomorrow. Looks like it is going to me a nice rain now.

I feel that tomato plants should be fertilized at least every six weeks. But watch what you use. High Nitrogen results in big lovely plants with few fruits. On the NKP, for tomatoes keep the N lower than the other two numbers. Also tomatoes can really really use those micro nutriients that the better fertilizers supply.

That really is a gorgeous daylily, Rita!

Thanks for sharing...now, I've added yet another daylily to my "want" list! Hilarious!

Green Grin!

At the moment, I also want a nap... Rolling on the floor laughing ...I won't get one, but I really, really want one! Hilarious!

I've started my first ornamental cabbage and kale. I'm not sure about the timing on these, but I've got sprouts! Hurray! Lots of clipping and trimming happening here, too.

I have a good-sized cuke that I'm dying to pull and try, but it doesn't look very plump. I might give those plants some hose time and see if it helps.

chelle, really peas are so easy. I don't understand why you wouldn't do well with them. Of course they have to be planted at the right time as they will never be able to take 100 degree weather. nodding

I never tried Tigarellas or any of the stripped tomatoes for that matter.

Tamara, Hurray for ripe tomatoes! Hurray! Hurray! I have been eating tomatoes here like crazy and already gave away more than I can count.

I've never used an inoculant, do you? I'm wondering if that's part of the problem?
