Thanks Natalie, that photo was taken when the sky was overcast.
Tried to take another one when the sun peeked out to see
if I could capture the green in the edge. No such luck. *Blush*

Shirlee, that is a real beauty. Great color and form.

Congrats on naming Fred's new daylily. It is a really pretty one that I know you will enjoy.

Thank you so much Ann. Fred's daylily is a beauty with
great bold color and form. I don't have one like that. Most of
mine are pastels. So, I am indeed a happy camper. Can't
wait to see it jump out in my garden. I'm going to place it
where I can see it from the window that I look out most.

I have scapes coming up in some of the registered daylilies.
Can't believe more scapes reblooming again and again.
Today, a few more seedlings:

Raspberry Masquerade x Prissy Girl 3rd bloom

Ocean Child x Linda Beck 2nd bloom

Can you tell I like the one above?

Sabine Baur x Written on the Wind FFO

A larger eye than Written on the Wind, but smaller edge

Thank you Betty. The first one is looking a little more like its
Papa, and may be a suitable bridge plant with its larger eye.
I'm not sure I like the texture of it though.

The second one, well, it is one I just can't miss in the garden.
Large, 6.25in, and deeper base color than camera shows. So far,
I'm loving it.

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! on the increase!!

I only started hybridizing two years ago, and planted a little over 100 seedlings that year. Out of those, only 6 or so bloomed for the first time this year. The rest have been busy increasing instead. I was so disappointed by seeing so few seedlings bloom after a two year wait, but I'll take the increase instead! Hopefully some of them will turn out to be worth the 3 year wait, and I'll have several extra fans of them!

And after your 3 year wait, you will have more blooms with the
extra increase. Something to get excited about all through
the winter and early spring. nodding

I'm off to plant seeds which have been keeping me busy
lately. Already filled one southern window with them.
Now, gotta prepare more space.

And planting these seeds is literally wearing me out
each day.

Thanks Betty for your very nice comment. Born to Run
and Gary Colby have put up rebloom scapes. Can't
believe the weirdness of this season.

Out of the 2013 seedlings, approximately 60 have bloomed,
I have chosen 10 to flag for evaluation.
