Hello to all from hot and very humid NH. If I could look one quarter as good as the daylily blooms outside I'd be doing pretty well
I'm not fit to be seen in a store right now as I've just come in from doing some weeding and have a shirt on that gives me a great deal of ventilation. Hubby even mentioned that he hoped I would not be going out in public with this particular shirt on and I assured him that I would then just have to stay home and continue to work in the gardens
Lisa, Mari is a Cardigan Welsh corgi. People are not too familiar with them, especially the blue merle. She is one year old now and it such a great dog. I enjoy her so much! Here's a couple more pics of her, the first was the first day we brought her home at 8 weeks and the other is current. Lucky for me she has no interest in eating any plants and stays out of the garden pretty much. I think she knows that it's my domain and she is content to watch as long as I stop and play with her from time to time. You should see what she can do with a ball
If she was a flower she would definately be my all time favorite!
Victorian Garden Star Bright will always be in my garden. I couldn't agree with you more as to how it increases and puts out blooms. It also has great substance and looks as good at the end of the day as it did in the beginning.
You are correct, I do have green foliage and I also have a lot of brown foliage as I only have watered once this summer (last week) when some daylily friends wanted to come and see my gardens, weeds and all. We're in the process of selling our house so that's taken priority over everything.
Stay cool!
Karin
