It's always a treat to come here ad see all the lovely blooms. Harvest Hue is one of my lates.

Foliage on lots of mine is so bad that I'm cutting it back almost to the ground and hoping for some nice green regrowth. No rain here yet in July unless you count the 20 drops that fell as I watered yesterday.

Love seeing everyone's canine friends. Here's my little 5 pound Ella.

I really like your purples, especially Kingdom Without End and Cup of Cold Water.I like watermarks and many of the purples have nice ones. Jewel of the Oasis is blooming for me now also and is one of my favorites. It's coloring is quite unusual I think.

Margaret, just think, you'll be able to show us some of your daylilies blooming and ours will be all or almost gone by.

Susan, your Ella has a great smile and looks like such a happy girl. I bet she's great company

Wonderful purples. They are my favorites too.

Ella is a Japanese Chin and is so docile that she has become a favorite on the Alzheimers unit where my Mom lives. I can set her in anyone's lap and she will just settle down and let them cuddle her. It's a joy to see people that don't respond to much of anything laughing and kissing her.

Susan, how wonderful that you have a therapy dog! My Aunt just went to live in a dementia unit at a nursing home last month. She had been living with my cousin for six months, and Pam just could not care for her any longer. 24 hour care is impossible for one person to provide! I'm thinking about taking my Ginny in to visit, but have not inquired about the rules for bringing dogs in. I used to take her over to see Aunt Betty every time I went to visit at Pam's because she just loved her. I'm really thankful that my Mom, Betty's sister, went quick. She only felt bad for one day! It was a huge shock, but that's the way to go, in my opinion. I'm way off subject here, huh?

I'm thinking about cutting most of the foliage back here, too, it looks so bad. Brown gardens in July are depressing! I went to the National convention last week and talked to some people from Texas who are used to these temps and drought. They must grow DLs that are used to it, too.

Karin, I'm making a wish list from your purples. I think we have the same taste in DLs! I have Michael Bennett, Planet Max, and Flirting With Disaster, too. I just love Curt Hanson's Tet Trahlyta line.
