First blooms on that cool fuchsia with lime green edge petunia, what's the name of it Zuzu?
And look at my cute & bright chicken pot, a gift from Zuzu!

I would never have guessed that marmalade was a feral Kitty. Do you have hopes of him becoming tame at all?

He is a sweet-faced darling, isn't he? He'll be tame any day now. Four of the nine ferals are now so tame that I can barely walk through my house. They keep weaving in and out between my feet. After all that time without human contact, they now can't get enough of it. Marmalade came here in the last bunch. They arrived about a month after the rest, so I'm sure they'll be tripping me a month from now.

Osteospermums are one of my favorite easy-to-grow plants, I collect all different colors. I got this one last year and it's in full bloom now.

These white nemesias are supposed to be annuals, not here. This is the second winter they have been here and they are in full bloom right now. Seems to be only the white ones that do this for me so far.

This tall bearded iris just opened today, and by tall, I mean 4 foot at least! It's called 'Honey Scoop', for that odd little scoop petal thing it's got going on there!

No roses blooming here yet but I do have Spring bulbs and Forthysia (sp?) in bloom.
My roses are breaking dormancy like crazy....some even leafing out
with the warmest March on record here in Michigan.
Sure enjoying the early warm temps although its quite shocking
to the system to go from winter to 70 - 80ยบ so quickly....
but I like it! I like it! Hurray!

I do love the flowering almond, Dana, but it spreads like crazy. For a while, I was cutting off the suckers and planting them in other parts of the garden, but now I have six or seven huge shrubs that keep getting bigger and bigger. They're too pretty to dig up and toss, though.

How funny that you're in the 70-80 range, CR and Dana, and I'm in the 40s and 50s here in sunny California. It still hasn't stopped raining. It's terrible for the fruit trees. The plums and pears bloomed, but the rain knocked all the blossoms off, so now there'll be no fruit.

It hasn't consistantly been that high...

Today its in the 50's and raining, which we really need.
We are very dry!
